Mid-week Lenten Worship Schedule
Beginning on Wednesday, February 24th, our Lenten schedule will be as follows: 12:00pm worship followed by a soup luncheon, and at 6:00pm, a simple soup supper followed by worship at 7:00pm. This year's theme will be based on N.T. Wright's book, Evil and the Justice of God. Lenten services continue on March 3, 10. 17, 24.
New Worship Location
Due to the problems with the heating system we are not able to heat the main sanctuary. Worship service is now being held in the lower social hall. More information can be found here.

Following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, we at Ballard First Lutheran affirm the dignity and worth of all people. We believe God calls us to be a coummunity of grace, compassion, and justice. With St. Paul, we affirm that, in Christ, "There is no longer Jew or Gentile, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all are one in Christ Jesus." (Gal. 3:28) We believe that the Gospel, that is, the good news of Jesus Christ, is God's gift for all people. Furthermore, we believe that this gift is to be shared unconditionally, without regard to age, race, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic or family status, or physical or mental ability.
